I am committed to changing the learning experience of each student so that it is accessible, relevant and transformative. I have high expectations for both myself as an educator and the students I work with. I am committed to working with each student to explore the most effective styles of learning and teaching. I have been an educator--tutoring, leading and designing workshops, teaching and working with youth--for over 8 years. I see this along with organizing, reading, trying to keep up with the stories of our time, or breaking bread with friends and family, as an extension of building community.
