My tutoring approach My tutoring approach is first to review the material with the student, and to work out problems and exercises with the student to see if the student can get them right. I assign homework that we review during the next session. I find that this simple, straightforward approach lets both of us identify and work on the student's weak points. While there's no "magic bullet" for learning, I can help make the drills and exercises as effective and painless as possible. My experience I have tutored since I was in senior high school (1986 through 1988). I have tutored people for the SAT I, the SAT II (Math and Biology) and the LSAT (Law School Admissions Test), the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) since 2002, both on my own and through services. I have recently tutored a very adorable little girl in all her second-grade subjects (reading, writing, math, and history). I am also tutoring a high school student in chemistry, and have tutored a high school student in geometry. I have recently finished working for Extreme Learning, where I tutored elementary and middle school students in math and English after school for two hours. Why I am a great tutor I am very friendly and patient. I come prepared to teach the subject, and, in the rare event that I don't know the answer, I don't hand-wave and try to "fudge" the answer. I make sure my students walk away understanding the material we've reviewed, and I make learning fun by making jokes and suggesting different ways to remember the material.

I am currently accepting new students.
