Education:: BA in 2008 from St. John's College, a small liberal arts program with a well rounded curriculum specializing in discussion-based study of the Great Books of Western civilization. I studied math, literature, science, philosophy, and language through the first hand texts of great thinkers, from Homer to Einstein and beyond.

I love cooking, gardening, and art--especially photography. I recently taught Chemistry and Physics at Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii (the school President Obama attended). I have also worked with a service-based spiritual empowerment program for middle schoolers. My husband and I recently (Sept. 2011) relocated to the South Bay so that he could begin work on a PhD in Education from Stanford.
