I have loved teaching since I was in college. During my career, I have taught or tutored mathematics and physics at San Francisco State University, University of San Francisco, and College of San Mateo. I once offered a course in Medicine for Mountaineers while I worked at UCSF, and 300 people signed up! I love reading, hiking, and studying the scores of musical compositions while listening to recordings. In a past life, I was the first-violinist of a string quartet, as well as the concertmaster of several amateur orchestras.
