I am a graduate of Yale University, where I double majored in mathematics and economics. I also spent some time on foreign languages, such as Chinese. I am planning on attending graduate school to get a Ph.D. in the economics of developing countries. While in high school, I enjoyed academic clubs, such as the math team, scholar bowl, and science olympiad. I also played the trombone as the section leader in symphonic and marching band in high school and continued to section lead in the Yale Precision Marching Band at college. The YPMB is a scatter band, so there is no actual marching! I have privately tutored high school algebra, geometry, and AP Calculus. Additionally, I spent a summer as an SAT test prep tutor in Beijing and Nanjing, China. In addition, I have tutored in grade school math. Outside of teaching, I have worked in an assisted living facility and worked as an analyst/associate at a small financial group in New York.
