 Tutorpedia Consultations

Tutorpedia tutors are an incredibly talented and inspiring group of people. In talking with some of our tutors, we realized that their skills and abilities themselves represent something that many of our clients will find immediately valuable. Therefore, in partnership with our tutors, we'd like to make select additional services available to you: high quality educational consultations! All our educational consultants are also tutors on staff. Not only are they enthusiastic about working directly with students; they are also enthusiastic about working with parents, caregivers, teachers, and students on higher order needs.

Please take a minute to read about the educational consultations we currently offer. If you are interested in finding out more, please be in touch with is via email or telephone (415-948-1585). Comprehensive Educational Assessments (Elisa Romero, M.Ed.)

An educational assessment can provide detailed information on your student’s strengths and weaknesses in the area of reading comprehension, written expression, mathematical reasoning and computational skills. While an educational assessment will not officially diagnose learning disabilities, it can determine if there is an underlying problem in language or mathematics processing.  Educational assessments serve as excellent guides for tutors and teachers who will be working with your student.

Parent Education Workshops (Tatyana Kuperman, MS.)

Parent education workshops provide parents with information on specific topics related to child development, parenting, and family living. Parenting workshops offer parents a combination of support, education, resources and incentives to become more knowledgeable about their child’s development and parenting. All workshops are informative, lively, and interactive in which parents take an active role in learning. Workshops provide parents with opportunities to share their parenting experiences and allow for parents to hear other parents’ perspectives. Workshops are designed to present parents with information supported by current research and help parents learn new skills necessary for raising healthy, responsible, resilient, confident, and well-balanced children.
