If you are not satisfied with your tutor, your first hour of tutoring is on us!
After that, our standard rates for individual tutoring sessions start at $95/hour for academic subjects and $105/hour for standardized test preparation. You can save money if you purchase a package of hours, and if you take advantage of one (or more) of our several discount options)

For all our packages,
- Hours never expire! You can use your hours over the course of two (or more) school years
- Hours are good for all subjects! You can receive tutoring for chemistry one week, history the next week, and get help with your English essay the week after.
- Hours are good for all Tutorpedia Tutors! If you work with more than one tutor, or if you switch tutors, your package of hours will still be honored.
- Hours can be transferred! Siblings can split the hours in any one of our packages. Hours can be transferred to friends, or even donated to deserving students who can not afford tutoring through the Tutorpedia Foundation.
- Hours are non-refundable. Except in the rare circumstance in which you are not satisfied with the tutoring services you're receiving, you are committed to a package once you've purchased it.

Rush Fee
We make every effort to connect families to tutors in a timely manner. However, if you need a tutor within the next 24 hours, we charge a one-time $50 rush fee to cover the additional effort it takes to find an available tutor on short notice. The rush fee only applies to the first session, and all subsequent sessions will be billed at the regular rate.
